History of ARC STATEWIDE

Specialty Docket Services provides administrative oversight of the specialty dockets in Virginia including technical assistance, budget management, monitoring compliance and evaluation. Specialty Dockets refer to specialized court dockets, established under Rule 1:25 of the Supreme Court of Virginia , within the existing structure of Virginia’s circuit and district court system offering judicial monitoring of intensive treatment, supervision, and remediation integral to case disposition.

History of ARC LOCAL

The NSVSUC supports the Speciality Dockets of the Shenandoah Valley. Specialty dockets operate within the court system to offer an alternative pathway for individuals in the criminal justice system who are engaged with substance use and mental health. These programs reduce recidivism, promote long-term recovery, and strengthen the health and safety of our community.
